Dr Rob Ziffer is a Consultant Physician specialising in Adult Internal Medicine. He has special interests in Cardiology and Oncology and treats a wide range of other medical disorders. Dr Ziffer has been a specialist since 1974 working from Fitzpatrick House servicing the local community and Central Gippsland Health Service since 1978. Dr Ziffer provides academic and professional leadership for physicians at Central Gippsland Health Service and has been a past president of the Gippsland Base Hospital medical staff group. He has provided leadership and been involved with numerous multi-centre drug trials. Dr Ziffer is also a lifelong supporter of the Geelong AFL club and he was also a relay torch bearer for the 2000 Olympics. Dr Ziffer has had close involvement with many local community organisations and has been a notable member of the Sale community for many years.
