Robert graduated in 1978 from Melbourne University and started a practice in 1981 with another collegue. He obtained his FRACGP in 1984 and continued to work and develop the practice,with his wife Charis Herman. He left the practice in 2020 and joined Southend Medical Centre. He has an interest in Aged Care and as such does a lot of home visits and Aged Care Visits.A few years ago he completed a course on wound management and as such does a lot of wound care. He enjoys tennis and currently his major hobby is wood turning. He has 2 adult children, a dog-Lexie and a cat-Prince
