Dr Richard Neilson has been working in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery since 2016. He graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame, Sydney in 2011 having had a former career as a chiropractor. Richard recently completed his Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine in addition to further training in Advanced Skin Surgery with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He is also currently completing his Fellowship training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and regularly attends conferences and educational seminars in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery both locally and abroad. Richard moved to Hobart with his wife and daughter in 2017 and feels privileged to be working alongside the professional and enthusiastic team at New Town Skin Cancer Centre.
