I see people with problems that affect the human nervous system. I am asked to see patients that have noticed changes in sensation or strength, or difficulty with their mobility and movement, coordination, or memory. I help identify the cause of such symptoms and to decide on the best course of action with regards to treatment where required. In other instances, I am asked to provide a second opinion or take over the management of a patient with an established neurological condition.

After graduating from medicine & surgery at The University of Melbourne in 2006, I worked in various hospitals while training to become a general physician and neurologist. Most of this training was completed at The Royal Melbourne and St. Vincent’s hospitals and their affiliated regional hospitals. I returned to The Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2014 where I spent 3 years as a ‘fellow’ working in the movement disorders unit. In 2017 I moved with my family to France where I gained a further year of experience in movement disorders and in particular, the practice of deep brain stimulation (DBS) at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris.

I am now very pleased to be back in Melbourne working as a consultant neurologist at the Alfred Hospital and within the new Department of Neuroscience, Monash University. I am fortunate to work with a great team of experts to deliver clinical care to our patients in the clinics and on the wards, and to participate in important research initiatives.
