Dr Rebecca Reed (Cardiologist)

Dr Rebecca Reed is a Cardiologist and Non Invasive Cardiac Imaging Specialist based at Peninsula Cardiology and Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute. After obtaining both a Bachelor of Science and also a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Dr Reed completed her physician training at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in 2004. Rebecca has completed advanced training in Cardiology at Monash Medical Centre followed by a fellowship in Non Invasive Cardiac Imaging at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, where she obtained extensive experience in echocardiography (transthoracic, transoesophageal and stress) and Cardiac MRI. Following this she completed an internship in Non Invasive Cardiac Imaging at Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud, France, where she obtained expert training in CT Coronary Angiography. In addition to her expertise in Non Invasive Cardiac Imaging, Rebecca also regularly consults in general cardiology, and has a particular interest in cardiovascular risk assessment.   Dr Rebecca Reed is available to see patients in our Rosebud, Cranbourne and Frankston locations.
