Dr Rebecca Adams completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1989 and went on to train in psychiatry in the United States. During her American studies in California and New York she obtained post graduate qualifications in psychotherapy, and developed her main interest in the relationship between trauma and mood disorders. Rebecca obtained her Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and returned to Australia in 1999. She is now an Affiliate Member of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
Rebecca worked in private practice in Perth for a number of years, and having returned to Melbourne, continues to enjoy working with patients psychotherapeutically.
