Ray has worked in general practice for more than 30 years, much of this in Bendigo. He has specific clinical interests in aged care, work-related injuries (Workcover), mental health, and chronic pain management. Ray has also been involved in medical education with the GP training program for 20 years. He is a senior examiner for the Royal Australian College of GPs and holds an academic position with Monash University Bendigo Regional Clinical School. He has been involved in the development of the Bendigo Primary Care Centre since its inception, bringing his experience as an operator of small and large practices.
