Dr Ramchander has over 10 years experience in General Practice.
He is an accomplished GP who completed his postgraduate training in the UK. Having graduated in 2001 from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, Dr Ramchander moved to the UK and completed his specialist training in General Practice. He was awarded a Membership of the Royal College (MRCGP) in 2006. Dr Ramchander continued to work as a partner for the following 10 years. During this time, he also worked as GP appraiser as well as an Undergraduate Tutor teaching final year medical students. In 2015, Dr Ramchander was awarded an honorary post as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Ramchander considers himself to be a generalist and enjoys all aspects of General Practice. He is comfortable dealing with all aspects of family health including paediatrics, chronic disease, acute medical/surgical presentations, mental health and geriatric complaints.
