Dr Raghu Kumar graduated from the University of Calicut, India in 2000. He then trained in Internal Medicine, completing his Masters degree from Manipal University and subsequently worked there as clinical teaching staff. Dr Kumar completed advanced training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation general Hospital, obtaining his fellowship and accreditation for gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures in 2014. Dr Kumar is a Clinical research fellow at Flinders Medical Centre and is currently pursuing his PhD at Flinders University. His research is focused on neuro-gastroenterology, motility and functional gut disorders. He is also involved with IBD research at Flinders Medical Centre.
