Dr Rachel Bradbury (Endocrinologist)

Dr Rachel Bradbury graduated from Sydney University with both Science (Honours) and Medical degrees. She was awarded a PhD for research concentrating on the fields of reproductive endocrinology and calcium metabolism and focused, in particular, on a molecular and functional characterisation of the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) in the human placenta. She has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed international journals and remains active in medical research.

Dr Bradbury is confident in all areas of endocrinology with a particular interest in: – Osteoporosis and calcium metabolism – Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) – Menstrual cycle disorders – Diabetes and insulin resistance – Gestational Diabetes – Thyroid and management in pregnancy – Fertility (both male and female)

Dr Bradbury is able to offer all treatment options available for infertility, including Ovulation Induction (OI) and In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF). She is currently involved in research into PCOS and the impact of insulin resistance/hyperandrogenism on fertility and pregnancy outcome.
