Dr. Nagappa graduated from Melaka Manipal Medical University, Malaysia in May 2006 then worked in several public/ government hospitals. In 2009 he was appointed Senior Medical Officer in the Department of Maxillo-Facial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Burns in Penang General Hospital. In 2010, he joined Gurney Clinic in Penang, Malaysia as a GP before being attached to the Department of Dermatology at Cardiff University and completing his well received Masters thesis titled 'The Role of UV-induced p53 Mutation in the Development of Skin Cancer'. Dr Nagappa joined Penang Adventist Hospital in 2013 as a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Department and a GP prior to starting at First Health Medical Centre in June 2015. He has certificates in Botox, Dermal Fillers and Cutaneous Laser Surgery from American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and from National University Singapore.
