Pushpani commenced as a registered General Practitioner in 2013, following extensive work experience and training in Sri Lanka and the USA. Pushpani also practiced as a Research Officer at Australian National University.
Pushpani obtained her medical degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in Sri Lanka, and a Master of Health Science and Neuroscience from University of Texas at Arlington, USA.
