Dr Philip Westmore has worked in general practice for 21 years following on from extensive hospital experience in adult medicine and surgery, emergency medicine, paediatrics, and obstetrics and gynaecology.
In 1999 he established the Glen Iris Travel Health Clinic, and in 2005 completed tertiary training in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, disciplines he has continued to practise until today.
Since 2010 he has worked extensively in refugee health medicine, and he continues to study Arabic and Mandarin as part of broader cultural engagement.
Currently Dr Westmore is doing advanced skin cancer training through the University of Queensland, and regularly assesses and treats cancerous and pre-cancerous skin lesions.
