Dr Philip grew up between the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW. He studied Medicine in Brisbane at the University of Queensland and worked as a junior doctor at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane as well as in Darwin and Wales. He commenced practice in Broadbeach in 1979 and has been President of the Gold Coast GP Association as well as inaugral president of the Gold Coast division of GPs and a member of the board at Pindara Private hospital. He has also been involved in teaching medical students from the University of Queensland, Griffith University and Bond University. Dr Philip covers all areas of General Practice and has a special interest in non surgical and surgical management of skin cancer.
