Dr. Petros Markou has been in private psychiatry practice since 1998, and in Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast since early 2005.
Dr. Markou manages most mental health conditions occurring in adults, specialising in anxiety disorders, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. He has specific interest and expertise in conducting medico-legal assessments, and welcomes work cover patients.

He completed medical school at Monash University in Melbourne at the end of 1989. Dr. Markou was born and raised in Melbourne where he completed his high school, moving permanently to the Sunshine Coast at the end of 2004.
