After working and living in remote areas of Australia for over 30 years, Dr Tait relocated to Canberra in 2012 where he combines his clinical work with public health advocacy for the ecological foundations of health, on climate change, and teaching at the ANU. In 2007 he was named GP of Year by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He also convenes the Ecology and Environment Special Group for the Public Health Association of Australia.
