My name is Peter Vickers. Although hailing from Sydney I am now resident in the national capital. I am qualified in the fields of Medicine and Dentistry, specialising in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I have trained in surgery in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. I have also undertaken clinical work in South East Asia having worked in Malaysia for three years. I hold Fellowships in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, England and Australia. I have a diploma of residency training from the examination board of the Louisiana State University, USA.

My recreational interests include golf and water sports. I take my four children camping when time permits. I support the Canberra Raiders, Sea Eagles and Socceroos and I particularly like watching Manchester United and AC Milan.
