Dr Peter Townsend brings a wealth of experience to his patients with more than 50 years' practicing medically, 47 of which in general practice. He completed his studies at the University of Sydney in 1967 and has been working at Chatswood for 15 years. Peter's list of special interests is extensive and includes aged care, cardiology, chronic disease management, infectious disease, men's and women's health, mental health, minor injuries and minor surgery. He is also interested in orthopaedics, paediatrics, pain management, respiratory medicine, sexual health, skin & cosmetics, travel medicine and veteran's health. In his own time, Peter likes to stay active, enjoying sports and in particular golf. He likes to travel and attend performances at the theatre or opera.
