Dr Vellore has recently returned from maternity leave. Persis graduated from the University of Melbourne. She holds a diploma of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Dr Vellore is involved in the training of General Practitioners and is currently an examiner for the RACGP. She has been awarded the Richard Clinton Gutch prize. Dr Vellore adopts a holistic and caring approach and her expertise ranges across a broad spectrum of health issues. She has special interests in women’s health, skin conditions (dermatoscopic mole checks) and musculoskeletal conditions such as back and neck pain. She is able to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to all musculoskeletal conditions as she works closely with a neurosurgeon, pain physician and neurologist. She is also able to perform minor surgeries (including skin cancer removal and implanon).
