Dr Gooding graduated from the UK in 1997. Prior to specialising in general practice he worked in Paediatrics and Psychiatry. “I am a Generalist and enjoy all aspects of general practice but I have a special interest in child health and mental health. In addition I work as a therapist. I really enjoy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT) to treat a range of mental health and psychological problems such as anxiety disorders, depression, midlife crisis, and to assist weight management”. Please note that at present Dr Gooding has limited availability and significant waiting times. This is because most of his practice now comprises mental health work with a specific focus on working with patients with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
