Owen is an experienced Upper Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Melbourne’s Southeast, Bayside and Mornington Peninsula. He is also employed at Sandringham and Frankston Public Hospitals.
Owen initially completed his Bachelor of Medicine at Newcastle University (NSW) in 2004. He then moved to Melbourne where he completed the Victorian Orthopaedic training and was accepted as a Fellow with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. After working as a Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon at Box Hill and Sandringham Hospitals he went on to complete 2 further years of sub-specialist training in Sydney and the United Kingdom.
Owen’s fellowship training with the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute and as an Upper Limb fellow at Wrightington Hospital in the United Kingdom, gave him extensive experience in the management of complex conditions of the shoulder and elbow.
