Dr Yemisi was born and raised in Lagos. After completing her medical internship in 2008 she practiced in Lagos as a GP for two years. She relocated to Sydney with her husband, Nosa, to pursue a dual Masters’ degree in Public Health and Health Management. Her family moved to the Riverland in 2014, following which she completed her Diploma in Child Health and welcomed their second son. Her medical interests include Womens and Children’s health. Outside these, she loves crafts and creative writing.
