Dr Nishath Altaf (Vascular Surgeon)

Mr Nishath Altaf is an internationally trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon whose focus is to deliver high quality individualized care to his patients.

After graduating from the University of Manchester, UK; he attained a PhD in the study of atherosclerotic disease from the University of Nottingham, UK. He has trained in the UK and after a clinical fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital, he attained gain the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS, Edinburgh) and the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).

Mr Altaf offers individualized management of arterial and venous diseases utilizing a range of minimally invasive endovascular techniques as well as open surgical techniques.

Mr Altaf currently practices at The Royal Perth Hospital and is active in teaching as well as vascular research. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Curtin University, a Senior Lecturer at UWA; and has published over 40 peer reviewed papers.

Mr Altaf privately consults at VIP Subiaco and St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals; and operates at the Royal Perth Hospital, St John of God Subiaco and St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals.
