Dr Nirosha began her undergraduate medical training at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. She first started her medical career as an Anaesthetist and later turned to General Practice over 10 years ago. She first worked as a GP in rural Tasmania for 3 years after migrating to Australia. Nirosha enjoys every aspect of general practice but has a special interest in women's health, children's health, chronic disease management and skin cancer medicine. Nirosha has a completed Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine with the University of Queensland. In her spare time Nirosha enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends!
