Dr Nimalan Pathma-Nathan is a senior Colorectal and General Surgeon. He has been a commenced as a consultant in 2002 and prior to that trained at Royal Prince Alfred, Adelaide and Manchester as well as Westmead. He is the Lead Clinician for the Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Group and has several administrative and teaching roles in the hospital. He has a special interest in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, perianal and pelvic floor disorders. Outside the hospital he is actively involved in the private sector, has a large family and tries to keep fit playing soccer.
