Dr Nigel Hawkins graduated from Monash University in 1990 and trained in paediatrics for seven years before moving into general practice in 2000. He completed his GP training and accreditation in 2005 and has been practicing since. Nigel's special interests include men's health, antenatal care, paediatrics, mental health and travel medicine. He has a further interest in aged care, palliative care, and WorkCover related conditions, as well as enjoying all aspects of general medicine. Nigel's particular interest lies in addiction in the community and mental health. Outside of work, he is actively involved in church and family activities and enjoys travel.
