Following a medical degree from the The University of Melbourne in 1996, Dr. Tan completed anaesthesia training at The Alfred Hospital in 2004, spending her final fellowship year in Oxford where she specialised in anaesthesia for neurosurgery, obstetrics and ENT surgery. Since then she has worked at The Alfred and The Royal Women’s Hospitals, and major private hospitals in Melbourne. Her interest is in the continuing search for improvement in perioperative outcomes and patient recovery. This has led to the initiation of individual and multi-site anaesthesia trials at Epworth Healthcare.
