Nicole Potasz is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She trained at Monash Medical Centre, The Austin Hospital and completed a research fellowship at the Ludwig Institute of Cancer Research. Dr Potasz is a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, the Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group, the Australian Gastrointestinal Trials Group and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
She was appointed as a consultant medical oncologist at Frankston Hospital where she attends breast, lung and gastrointestinal cancer outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary team meetings. For many years, she also worked at Cabrini’s Palliative Care Centre in Prahran before joining Oncology Clinics Victoria. Nicole is the lead investigator for a number of local research studies and is involved in the development and conduct of clinical trials.
