Dr Hutt has been studying and working in the Wollongong region since 2003. She completed a Medical Science degree and a Masters in Public Health before studying Medicine. During her university years she worked as an assistant nurse, a sleep technician, and a newborn hearing screener. Dr Hutt also published a paper in the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health. Since graduating, Dr Hutt has completed rotations in paediatrics, surgery, and general medicine. She has done extended terms in mental health, rehabilitation and emergency medicine. In her spare time, Nicole likes to crochet, run and read. She spends most of her spare time chasing after her three children.
