Dr Nick Lutton is a colorectal surgeon interested in both cancer and non-cancer colorectal surgery with a particular interest in functional bowel problems (incontinence, constipation and defaecatory disorders).

He completed his training in General Surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital and then began three years of sub-specialist training in colorectal surgery. He had 12 month appointments in Basingstoke, UK, under the father of modern rectal cancer surgery and then completed the post-fellowship training program of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand. This involved year long appointments at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne and St George Hospital, Sydney. He is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Chairman of Colorectal Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Woolloongabba.
