Niamh (pronounced Neev) Leonard is the newest member of the Point Walter Medical team.

Dr Leonard was born in Dublin, Ireland and graduated from University College Dublin Medical School in 2005. After completing her internship in Dublin she traveled to Sydney and worked in Emergency Medicine on the North Shore. Dr Leonard returned to Ireland to do her postgraduate specialist training in General Practice over the next 5 years while also doing further studies in Child Health, Women’s Health and Care of the Elderly. She obtained a Masters degree in Sports Medicine through University College Galway in 2012.

Niamh’s special interests include pediatrics and women’s health and she is experienced and qualified in Implanon and Mirena Insertions & Removals

Niamh and her family moved to Perth in 2014. She is married with three young children.

She is accepting new patients.
