Dr Afsharipour has more than 10 years’ experience as a GP, the last 6 years being in metropolitan and rural Australia. Navid is proudly Australian and his background is Persian. Navid is registered with a Medical Doctorate and has a General and Specialist Registration with the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (Fellowship of RACGP). He is very passionate about general practice and believes a good relationship and communication between doctor and patient, is the key factor for the best outcome of each consultation. Navid is very enthusiastic about cosmetics (aesthetics), women’s health, paediatrics and skin diseases. He also has a great knowledge of mental health and broad working knowledge in emergency medicine. Navid enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients and enjoys using his knowledge and experience to enable the best possible outcome for each patient. Navid can facilitate consultation for those patients who speak Farsi (Persian) using their own language.
Navid enjoys listening to music and plays Bass guitar in his spare time. He also enjoys cycling on a regular basis and getting together with family and friends on weekends.
