Hi, I’m Nathalie Gomes and I’m the business manager at Atticus Health. I’m currently on maternity leave, having had my fifth child last year, and couldn’t resist getting involved in developing Atticus Health! I’m a doctor myself, currently undertaking training in anaesthetics. I am also Floyd’s wife. We share the same passion for wanting to improve the accessibility of health care and improving the quality of life through better health regardless of your age or circumstance. For me, part of this passion grew from my upbringing in Africa. I was born in Kenya, then lived in Ethiopia until the age of 10. Together with my family we then moved to England for 1 year, and finally settled in Australia. I’ve seen a huge disparity in the implementation, accessibility and the effectiveness of health care not just between these countries, but also within them. I believe that Atticus Health has a great deal to offer the community in this regard, and I’m really looking forward to getting started!
