Natalie was born and went to school in Melbourne. She completed her Medical and Linguistics degrees at Melbourne University, and then became very mobile. She has worked in many of Victoria’s Emergency Departments, as well as taking a year to enjoy Emergency Medicine in Ireland. More recently she has moved to Daylesford from Bendigo, is about to complete her Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine at James Cook University (Townsville), and has discovered the joys of walking, and walking and walking (because her GP told her to). Natalie enjoys all areas of medicine, but has a special interest in infectious diseases and public health, women’s health, mental health, and, not surprisingly, emergency medicine. She would really like people to come in and chat about staying well – preventive medicine and promoting well-being are just as important as acting when things go wrong.
