Doctor Natalia Katsikitis is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Natalia undertook her undergraduate medical training in Russia. After completing her studies, Natalia emigrated to Australia to continue her medical internship and General Practice training.
Natalia completed her General Practice training in rural South Australia (Tanunda and Goolwa),. In this setting, Natalia was exposed to all aspects of General Practice including chronic disease management, paediatrics, women's health, men's health and mental health.
After being accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners, Natalia moved to the Pilbara region (Western Australia) where she worked as a General Practitioner. She combined this work with occupational health, providing pre employment medical assessments and ongoing Workcover injury management to those working in the mines.
In 2010 Natalia moved back to South Australia and continued to develop her skills in occupational health, including post-graduate study in Musculoskeletal Medicine. She is also providing medical services to Australian Defence Force members at a South Australian Airforce Base.
Natalia was welcomed into Globe Medical in early 2013. Working at Globe Medical has enabled Natalia to combine her interests in General Practice and Occupational Health.
