Dr Nadine Perlen graduated from Monash University in 1990 and completed her fellowship in general practice in Victoria in 1994 before moving to Perth in 1995. She has practiced as a GP and medical educator since then with a special interest in integrative medicine. In recent years she has trained in nutritional and environmental medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) of which she is a board member and is involved with training doctors in this field. She integrates nutritional medicine into all areas of general practice with a special focus on gut and metabolic disorders and enjoys the challenge of working with patients of all ages to uncover the underlying causes of their health problems and assist them to wellness.
