Dr Maqboul graduated from University College London before starting work at the Royal Free Hospital in London. She then moved to Melbourne where she completed her physician training and Gastroenterology training.
In addition to this, she has completed a two year fellowship in Interventional Endoscopy at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
This has involved training in ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, endoscopic resection of large colonic polyps and other advanced diagnostic procedures. Dr Maqboul currently holds a public position at the P.A Hospital involving both Interventional and General Gastroenterology and a Senior Lecturer position at the Southside School of Medicine.
