Dr Rahman has been working with us since 2016 in part time capacity. He is a proud Australian citizen migrating from Bangladesh in early 2006. After achieving postgraduate qualification from RMIT University, he continued to work in the pathology sector before embarking on the journey of Australian clinical practice in 2010 from Swan Hill. He started into general practice in 2012 when he moved to Echuca. In 2015 he completed one year of advance specialised training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Bendigo. He has finished formal GP training with RVTS and is currently waiting for fellowship. Dr Rahman likes to roam around all facets of general practice. However, women's health, mental health, Aboriginal health, chronic disease management and minor surgery are his forte. He also supervises stress echocardiogram sessions at Echuca CVC on a fortnightly basis.
