Dr Alamgeer is a Medical Oncologist with an interest in all types of solid tumours. After completing his basic physician training in the UK, he moved to Australia, where he completed his Medical Oncology training at Western Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Subsequently he completed a Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and then moved to Monash Medical Centre, where he is involved in several clinical trials. He is also a visiting Medical Oncologist at St John of God Hospital, Berwick. Dr Alamgeer also completed doctorate degree at Monash University where his particular interest was in biomarker discovery and cancer stem cells. Dr Alamgeer is a member of Medical Oncology Group of Australia, American Society of Clinical Oncology and International Association of Study in Lung Cancer.
