Dr Mubashar Sherazi (GP)

Dr Mubashar Sherazi joined the Mallacoota Medical Centre in May 2018 as a GP Registrar under Rural Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS). He is a compassionate and experienced physician with a spectrum of clinical experience. He completed his medical degree in Pakistan which was followed by postgraduate training in family medicine and general surgery. He practiced in Pakistan as a general practitioner with special interest in general practice procedures and emergency medicine.

Dr Sherazi moved to Canada and became a Licentiate of Medical Council of Canada (LMCC). He gained valuable clinical experience in the field of General Surgery. He qualified and became member of Royal College of General Practitioner UK (MRCGP INT). He expanded his clinical skills by completing training and Certificate in Australian College of Emergency Medicine (Cert ACEM) in 2018.

As a general practitioner, Dr Sherazi has a passion about maintaining health and preventing disease. He admires the opportunity of managing the diversity of disease manifestations. He likes to provide continuity of care, providing services to grandparents, parents and children all coming from same family. Whether it is a patient facing progressive decline with aging, a woman choosing to have a child or a young adolescent concerned about primary disease prevention, he takes pride in providing care to all. He is always eager to participate in patient education, improving their knowledge regarding common diseases.

Dr Sherazi moved to the beautiful town of Mallacoota for work-life balance and professional rewards of working and getting further GP training in a rural and remote community. He enjoys participating in community activities. He goes out for bike rides, bush walking, photography and enjoys playing badminton.
