Dr Monsur Kazi received his MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College, Bangladesh and followed on with a PhD from Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
He was appointed as a post doctoral fellow at the School of Medicine, JCU, Townsville. During his post doctoral fellowship period he grew to take an interest in clinical medicine, and started his clinical career as an intern in 2009 at The Townsville Hospital. Thereafter, he worked as a medical registrar in multiple hospitals including The Townsville Hospital, The Canberra Hospital and The Gold Coast University Hospital.
Dr Monsur‘s passion for chronic diseases drew him to persue a career as a GP, however, he loves to spend his free time with his family.
