Michelle joins Samford Valley Medical Centre having previously practiced in Samford since 2016. Michelle is a UK trained doctor who graduated with Bachelor of Medicine (BM 2005) from the University of Southhampton on the south coast of England, before completing her post graduate physician training in London (MRCP 2009).
Since moving to Brisbane in 2011, she has worked in the hospital, community and general practice settings with special interest in chronic disease management, diabetes, aged care and palliative care. Michelle visits a local nursing home once a week and also holds a clinical diploma (ClinDipPallMed 2013) in palliative medicine.
Michelle is interested in the holistic aspects of general practice and as a mother of two young children appreciates the importance of continuity and getting to know the whole family through all ages and stages.
Michelle loves spending time with her young family outside of work but also enjoys the gym, running, trekking and travelling when the opportunity arises!
