Michele graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in the United Kindom in 1998. She was elected for a fellowship from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine in 2007. Since then Michele has worked exclusively in emergency medicine for a range of Western Australian hospitals, including Royal Perth Hospital, Swan Districts Hospital and various WA Country Health Service sites. Previously she was the Emergency Head of Department for Northam Hospital. Michele has been a Co-Head of Department for St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals’ ED since it opened. Michele has a special interest in providing training and support to the next generation of medical consultants.
