Dr Michael Wynn-Williams MBChB, FRANZCOG is a Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist and a founding director of Eve Health who practices at The Wesley Hospital.
With a sub speciality and extensive experience in advanced reproductive endosurgery and minimally invasive pelvic surgery, he has a focus on preserving a woman's fertility where diseases like endometriosis and fibroids are severely impacting on a woman's life. Dr Wynn-Williams is also experienced in advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecology.
Dr Wynn-Williams completed his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Christchurch and Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, after graduating from Otago University. He completed a two year Fellowship at the Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery in Sydney, with a third year in Glasgow, Scotland. He then spent two years as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Cambridge University NHS Trust. He moved to Brisbane in 2006 to enjoy the Queensland lifestyle, and is now a Visiting Medical Officer at the Mater Adults and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee hospitals, where he sees public patients with severe endometriosis from around Queensland, Northern NSW and the Northern Territory.
Dr Wynn-Williams also provides private consultations from Eve Health at Southbank and Spring Hill. He takes an active interest in teaching laparoscopic surgical techniques and has demonstrated at many surgical meetings in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He is committed to fertility success, managing endometriosis and fibroids with a laparoscopic surgical approach.
