Dr Michael Petinga graduated from Medicine at the University of Wollongong. Prior to studying medicine, he had completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with Distinction at the University of Wollongong. He completed his internship and residency at The Wollongong Hospital before moving on to General Practice. Dr Petinga enjoys the variety that General Practice has to offer, but has a particular interest in Type 2 Diabetes, Men’s Health, Preventative Health and Chronic Disease Management. Dr Petinga is also an Honorary Clinical Tutor with the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Wollongong.
