Dr Michael Massey has been at Busselton Medical Practice since arriving with his young family in 1998. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1990 and completed his General Practice training in 1996. Along the way he also completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and trained extensively in anaesthetics. He is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine with particular expertise in antenatal care, skin cancer surgery, aged care and paediatrics. Having travelled extensively he also has professional interest and experience in travel medicine. In addition to General Practice he also provides anaesthetics at Busselton Hospital for a range of surgeons. He is currently a board member of Cape Care, a not for profit aged care provider. When not working at medicine he is busy driving his children about their seemingly endless sporting activities and social lives. In his spare time he can be found playing his guitar poorly and injuring himself with sporting pursuits. He continues to dream of swimming around the Busselton Jetty in under an hour and regaining his status as the Busselton Medical Practice swimming champion.
