The latest member of the Adelaide Vascular team, Michael is an accredited vascular and endovascular surgeon. Commencing as a consultant surgeon in 2014, he holds appointments with The Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Ashford Hospital. He is also a visiting surgeon at The Lyell McEwin Hospital as well as currently consulting at Murray Bridge and Whyalla Hospitals. Michael’s areas of interest are the endovascular repair of complex abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, as well as management of lower-limb peripheral vascular disease and associated diabetic pathology. He holds accreditation for the management of the full range of vascular pathology, including carotid disease and minimally-invasive treatment of varicose veins. Michael is currently supervisor of vascular assessment of interns and registered medical practitioners (RMO’s) at The Royal Adelaide and The Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. He is a regular participant in the Multi-Disciplinary High-Risk Diabetic Foot Clinic (HRC) at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He has also been an examiner at the Adelaide Vascular Trials (AVT) since 2014.
