I qualified from Queens University Belfast in 1989 and my hospital training in Northern Ireland. I completed my GP training in the south of England. I returned to Northern Ireland in 1995 and worked as a GP partner for 21 years. I have been a GP trainer of undergraduate students and postgraduate GPs. I have also worked as a Forensic Medical Officer and in Cosmetic Dermatology. I have additional qualifications in Mental Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. I came to Perth on holiday in 2016 with my Australian born wife and family to see where she grew up and fell in love with the beautiful costal lifestyle and weather. We moved here to live in December 2016 and have loved every minute since. I love windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding and cycling. I strive to be caring and professional and treat patients as people rather than medical problems.
