Dr Michael Barber accepted membership of the CAB for essentially two reasons. Firstly, to develop a manual for clinical best practice, that will be maintained to the highest standard with a culture of continual reassessment and adaptation. Secondly, to develop a culture within Maven Dental Group that seeks to incorporate continuing education as the cornerstone for delivery of the highest quality of service and treatment to our patients.
Dr Barber’s interests include Lasers in Periodontal Therapy, immediate socket grafting for delayed dental implant placement and therapies for resolution of Peri-Implant mucositis and implantitis.
Away from the practice, Dr Barber enjoys learning about the history and culture of red wines. So much so that he hopes to commence a Bachelor of Wine Science at Charles Sturt University in the near future. He also enjoys incorporating Pilates and Yoga into his everyday life and spending Monday night’s playing Toowoomba Tennis with many accompanying red wines.
