Merian is Australian born and grew up in Sale, Gippsland. She is now married with 2 children and 3 cats, and enjoys travel, snowboarding, reading and eating chocolates! She completed her medical degree at Monash University. She has switched from being an Antenatal shared carer at Frankston Hospital to skin cancer medicine, although she still loves seeing patients at all stages of pregnancy and providing post partum care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and can’t make up her mind which part she loves best as it changes day to day. Merian particularly enjoys arranging mental health care plans, GP care plans, insertion and removal of Implanon and providing iron infusions. She can also provide pre exposure prophylaxis for HIV negative patients and she loves administering Botulinium toxin injections as she believes the less you frown the happier you feel!
